Dear Friends
in Christ,
Greetings in Jesus name! Please forgive the tardiness of this letter. A lot has been happening with Lynda’s health and mine also. My trip to Peru had to be put off until possibly November. My blood pressure was out of sight, both high and low. It is still not perfect, but more under control most of the time. Please pray for these physical needs with us. I’ve been blessed with relatively good health during my seventy-four years with some minor bumps in the road.
Lynda has had a number of issues starting with the stroke. She is better and has actually cooked a meal recently! How do you know what to cook and all those other things I have never been concerned with? To me it has always been, “Cook it and I’ll eat it.”
We have been working to get our prayer booklet in more languages on our web site. We currently have English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. We have French and Russian in the works. The translation part is done on those two languages and we’re hoping to get them up on the site before long.
We continue to see some saved at the prison. Last month we had three saved. That’s not much, but when you reach someone with the Gospel, it is worth all the expense and effort you have put into it. I will be there to preach for the next two Sunday evenings.
We were able to go to Tallahassee, FL recently and down to see Tim and Leah above Miami. She is due Aug. 22nd. This will be the first boy on her mother’s side of the family in over a hundred years. His name is Micah. I was also able to preach in a Haitian church. Lynda was feeling bad that day so I was the only white person there. I preached in the Haitian Creole language, and the Haitian pastor said he was amazed at how well I did and the words I remembered after many years away from Haiti.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
Yours for those still unreached,

Bro. Daylon Hicks
